Anthony Kim is making a return to professional golf this week at LIV Golf’s Jeddah event in Saudi Arabia, and fans are curious about the equipment he is using after a 12-year hiatus. In the past, Kim was seen using Nike clubs, but with Nike no longer in the clubmaking business, he has switched to Titleist. Despite not having an equipment deal, Kim will be playing with Titleist clubs throughout the bag.

When it comes to his ball choice, Kim has opted for the Pro V1, a lower-spinning ball compared to the Pro V1x, which he had previously tested. This change has allowed Kim to have more control over his spin rate, particularly with his driver. Additionally, Kim uses the Ventus Black shaft in his 9-degree TSR3 driver head to further reduce spin.

In terms of his fairway woods, Kim has had a complex relationship with them in the past. While he did not use any fairway woods in 2009, he has since added a TSR2+ model to his bag after being impressed by a friend’s club. Kim also incorporates a 2-iron and a set of forged blades from 3-PW in his current setup. His modern set includes a combination of game improvement and players irons, with a graphite-shafted T200 iron at the top of the set.

When it comes to wedges, Kim utilizes a variety of grinds to suit different shot types. His 50-degree wedge features an F-grind for full swing shots, while his sand wedge (S-grind) and lob wedge (T-grind) provide versatility for various lies and conditions. This setup allows Kim to effectively navigate a variety of short game situations on the course.

One unique aspect of Kim’s equipment is the Teryllium insert in his putter, which has been updated with his daughter’s name, Bella, stamped on it. This personal touch adds sentimental value to his club and reflects Kim’s connection to his family. Overall, Kim’s equipment choices reflect a blend of performance, control, and personalization that suit his playing style and preferences on the course.
