The preseason Bushnell/Golfweek men’s college golf polls for the 2024-25 season have been released, with Auburn starting as the No. 1 team in the Div. I Coaches Poll after their excellent performance in the previous season. Following Auburn, Arizona State and Florida State take second and third place, respectively, with Vanderbilt and North Carolina completing the top five. Virginia, Tennessee, Texas, Illinois, and Florida make up the rest of the top 10 teams in the preseason rankings. The Div. I poll shows a significant representation from SEC teams, ACC teams, Big 12 teams, and Big 10 teams after the latest round of conference realignment.

The Preseason Bushnell/Golfweek Division II Coaches Poll sees Colorado Christian starting at the top spot after winning their first national championship in school history. They are followed by North Georgia, Oklahoma Christian, West Florida, and Georgia Southwestern in the top five. Methodist, after winning a record 14th men’s national championship in Div. III in the previous season, begins the new season as the No. 1 team in the Div. III Coaches Poll. Carnegie Mellon, Emory, Oglethorpe, and Illinois Wesleyan make up the top five spots in the Division III rankings. The rankings highlight the talent and competitive nature of Div. III men’s college golf teams, showcasing the top programs to watch in the upcoming season.

Dalton State leads the NAIA Coaches Poll after winning their second national championship in the program’s history. Keiser, Texas Wesleyan, British Columbia, and Lindsey Wilson follow closely behind in the top five of the NAIA rankings. The rest of the top 10 features Columbia (MO), Houston-Victoria, MidAmerica Nazarene, Wayland Baptist, and Ottawa Arizona, showcasing the depth and talent present in NAIA men’s college golf.

Odessa leads the NJCAA Div. I Coaches Poll after placing second at the national championship in the previous season. They are followed by Midland, New Mexico JC, Indian Hills, and Hutchinson in the top five spots. Defending national champions New Mexico JC show their strength in the rankings, and the competitive landscape in the NJCAA Div. I men’s college golf circuit is set to be intense in the upcoming season.

Mississippi Gulf Coast starts at the top of the NJCAA Div. II Coaches Poll after winning their last 13 tournaments last season, including their second national championship. Kirkwood, South Mountain, Roane State, and Des Moines Area round out the top five positions in the Div. II rankings. The rankings showcase the talent and competitive nature of the NJCAA Div. II men’s college golf teams, setting the stage for an exciting season ahead.
