England Golf has announced the finalists for the England Golf Awards 2025, sponsored by FootJoy, which will take place at the Hilton Manchester Deansgate on Wednesday 2 April. The awards evening will recognize 12 winners in various categories including players, clubs, facilities, and counties who have made significant contributions to elevate the profile of the game over the past year. England Golf Chief Executive Jeremy Tomlinson expressed the importance of the awards night in recognizing and applauding the outstanding achievements that have taken place around the country to help the game progress.

The finalists for the awards were selected by an expert panel of 50 judges, which included England Golf staff, industry professionals, and media colleagues. The list of finalists for each category, such as Club of the Year, County of the Year, Respect in Golf Award, Facility of the Year, Participation & Development Coach of the Year, Sustainability Project of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, Young Person of the Year, Women & Girls Trailblazer, Performance of the Year, and Tournament Venue of the Year, have been announced. The winners will be crowned at the awards ceremony in April.

The Lifetime Achievement Award winner and the Hall of Fame inductees for 2025 will also be announced on the night of the awards ceremony. Tickets for the event can be booked through the England Golf website. The finalists represent a diverse range of individuals and organizations who have made significant contributions to the game of golf in various ways, from coaching and development to sustainability and tournament hosting.

The Club of the Year finalists include Abbeydale Golf Club in Yorkshire, Five Lakes Golf Club in Essex, and Shirley Golf Club in Warwickshire. The counties nominated for County of the Year are Cheshire, Hampshire, and Lancashire. The Respect in Golf Award finalists include Skratch Women in London, Walmley Foundation CIC in Warwickshire, and Woolley Park Golf Club in Yorkshire. The Facility of the Year finalists are 3 Hammers in Staffordshire, HUKD Golf in Lancashire, and Need Golf Centre in Cheshire.

The awards also include categories such as Participation & Development Coach of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, Young Person of the Year, Women & Girls Trailblazer, Performance of the Year, and Tournament Venue of the Year. These categories recognize individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions to the game of golf in various capacities. The awards ceremony aims to celebrate and honor the accomplishments of those who have helped advance the sport of golf in England.

The prestigious Lifetime Service Award will be presented to a deserving recipient on the night of the awards ceremony. Additionally, the 2025 Hall of Fame inductees will be revealed during the event.
