Wilson Golf has recently launched two new golf ball models, the Triad and DUO Soft, that are designed to enhance performance for golfers of all skill levels. With industry-leading balance and softness, these balls aim to help players find more fairways and sink more putts. The Triad features patented Tri-Balanced Construction for a perfect center of gravity, while the DUO Soft remains the world’s softest golf ball with a two-piece surlyn construction. Both balls offer improvements in distance, accuracy, and control.
The Triad’s advanced design includes a high moment of inertia to maximize ball speeds and reduce driver spin, as well as a thin, high-friction urethane cover for increased club face interaction. The DUO Soft, on the other hand, features a high-energy core for maximum distance off the tee and a compression of 37 for the softest feel in any golf ball. Both models have undergone rigorous testing to ensure that they provide the best performance benefits for golfers, including longer driver distances and higher iron spin rates.
Wilson’s Global Director of Golf Ball Innovation, Frank Simonutti, highlights the consistency and performance benefits of the new Triad and DUO Soft golf balls. The Triad, in particular, has been proven to outperform competitive three-piece urethane balls in driver distance and iron spin rates. The DUO Soft, with its five highly visible color options, offers premium performance at an affordable price point, making it an attractive choice for players looking for straighter flight and help finding the fairway.
Srixon is also introducing new ZXi Irons with groundbreaking i-FORGED technology, designed to enhance feel, distance, forgiveness, and control for golfers. The Irons feature Condensed Forging and a careful tempering process to optimize strength and softness, resulting in a superior performance across all ZXi Iron models. The ZXi7 Irons deliver stability and precision for ball strikers seeking Tour-level performance, while the ZXi5, ZXi4, and ZXiU models offer MainFrame technology for maximum flex at impact and improved forgiveness.
The ZXi Iron lineup also includes features such as the Tour V.T. Sole for better turf interaction, progressive grooves for consistent spin, and refined tour shaping for a cohesive look and feel across the entire family of Irons. With their advanced technologies and innovative designs, the ZXi Irons aim to provide golfers with a superior playing experience and improved performance on the course.
On the woods side, Srixon is introducing the all-new ZXi Woods featuring i-FLEX technology for tour-inspired performance on the tee box and fairway. The lineup includes the ZXi Driver models, each offering unique features such as high MOI, low spin profiles, and adjustability options for greater control and precision. The ZXi Fairway Woods and Hybrids also deliver tour-caliber ball speed and forgiveness, with features like the Rebound Frame for increased power and distance and the Star Frame Crown for structural integrity and performance optimization.
In conjunction with the new equipment launches, COBRA PUMA Golf has announced a long-term extension with fan favorite Rickie Fowler. Fowler will continue to wear head-to-toe PUMA Golf apparel and carry a full bag of COBRA clubs, showcasing his style and skill on and off the course. As a six-time PGA Tour winner and team competition stalwart, Fowler’s partnership with COBRA PUMA Golf highlights the brand’s dedication to both performance and fashion in the golf industry.
Overall, with the introduction of the new Wilson Golf balls, Srixon ZXi Irons and Woods, and the continuation of the partnership with Rickie Fowler, golfers can expect improved performance, feel, and style on the course. These innovative products and collaborations aim to enhance the overall golfing experience for players of all levels, providing them with the tools and equipment needed to excel in their game.
