COBRA Golf™ has recently introduced the new KING™ BLACK EDITION TOUR and KING™ BLACK EDITION CB and MB irons, targeted towards advanced golf players who value premium feel and shot shaping ability. These irons feature a durable black DBM finish that offers extreme resistance to wear, maintaining a sleek look over time. Constructed from 1025 carbon steel using COBRA®’s 5-Step Forging Process, these irons provide unmatched soft feel and precise shaping. The forging process involves heating carbon steel billets and subjecting them to pressure at specific temperatures to form an extremely uniform grain structure, resulting in improved consistency and enhanced feel at impact.

The KING™ BLACK EDITION TOUR irons blend soft feel and playability with enhanced distance and forgiveness. These irons feature CNC undercuts in the back cavity for improved launch conditions and more forgiveness on off-center hits. Additionally, the irons have 2-degree stronger lofts for more explosive distance off the face. On the other hand, the KING™ BLACK EDITION CB/MB irons offer compact shapes with thinner toplines, minimal offset, and shorter blade lengths for enhanced shot-shaping ability. Due to the precision of the 5-Step Forging Process, these irons feature perfectly centered CG locations without the need for added Tungsten, providing a customizable set configuration to fit gapping and aesthetic preferences.
