The course will play at 7,174 yards for the men’s competition and 6,374 yards for the women’s competition at the Paris 2024 Olympic golf tournaments. The winning scores at the Open de France have ranged from seven-under to 16-under, showcasing the course’s difficulty while also providing opportunities for low scores.

The course record at Le Golf National is 62, jointly held by Argentina’s Eduardo Romero and Denmark’s Rasmus Hojgaard. Romero achieved the record in 2005, shooting nine-under in a single round at the Open de France. Hojgaard matched the record in 2022, with an impressive round that included 10 birdies, leading to a six-stroke advantage after the first two rounds.

Rasmus Hojgaard’s performance at the 2022 Open de France was particularly noteworthy, with a stunning display of birdies and strong putting. Despite breaking the record for the lowest 36-hole total at the tournament, Hojgaard ultimately lost by one shot to Guido Migliozzi. Hojgaard’s performance highlighted the challenges and opportunities that Le Golf National presents to golfers of all skill levels.
