9 Memorable Courses We Played in 2024

In 2024, the staffers at GOLF.com had the opportunity to travel and play golf at various courses throughout the year. Here, we take a look at some of their favorite courses they played over the past 12 months. From the Catskills to Hawaii, each course offered a unique and memorable experience for the golfers.

Kevin Cunningham’s favorite course of 2024 was the Rip Van Winkle Country Club in Palenville, New York. A big move led him to this course, and he was impressed by its mountain views and overall experience. Nick Piastowski’s favorite course played in 2024 was in central Wisconsin, where he had the opportunity to play for a WWE championship belt.

Maddi MacClurg was wowed by the Yeamans Hall Club in South Carolina, which offered stunning low-country views and unlocked striking memories for her. Zephyr Melton shared that he has been playing the Rawls Course since high school and each visit home seems to make the course even better.

Josh Berhow reflected on his favorite courses of 2024 and shared that he learned how to appreciate certain golf courses more than others. Jack Hirsh described a bucket list course that may have ripped his heart out, but he still loved the experience. Sean Zak found beauty in playing Trump Turnberry in Scotland as the sky turned pink and the course became a work of art.

Connor Federico was captivated by the lava-covered Hualalai Golf Course in Hawaii, which offered a setting unlike any other in the world. Jessica Marksbury shared her favorite course of the year, Stonecreek GC in Phoenix, Arizona, which offered an incredible summer deal that made it stand out among the rest.

Each of these golf courses provided unique experiences for the GOLF.com staff in 2024. From stunning views to challenging layouts, each course had something special to offer. As the staffers continue to explore new courses in the coming year, they will carry with them the memories and lessons learned from their favorite courses of 2024.
