Fujikura has recently announced the launch of its 2024 Ventus line of shafts, which includes the Ventus Blue, Ventus Red, and Ventus Black options. These shafts are designed using the Velocore technology, a multi-material bias core construction technique that aims to improve clubface stability and center-face contact for better dispersion. The 2024 Ventus line features the next generation of Velocore, Velocore+, which promises enhanced feel and stability, resulting in tighter dispersion and greater ball speeds.

The 2024 Fujikura Ventus Red shaft is higher launching and spinning compared to the Ventus Blue, offering higher ball speeds and greater accuracy. It features a stiff tip, firm midsection, and ultra-stiff handle. On the other hand, the 2024 Ventus Black shaft is designed for golfers with aggressive backswing-to-downswing transitions and those seeking a more penetrating ball flight. It has an ultra-stiff tip, stiff midsection, and ultra-stiff handle.

According to Spencer Reynolds, Ventus has been the standard in wood shaft performance since its launch on global Tours in 2018. With the 2024 iteration, Fujikura aimed to improve the original model by incorporating new materials and technology advancements developed over the last six years. The shafts in the Ventus line are available in weights ranging from 52 to 94 grams and flexes from R2-X, priced at $350 retail and set to be released on July 1.

The Velocore technology used in the 2024 Ventus line is designed to enhance club performance by providing better stability and improved dispersion. With Velocore+, golfers can expect greater feel and stability, resulting in tighter dispersion and increased ball speeds. The Ventus Red shaft is ideal for players looking for higher ball speeds and accuracy, while the Ventus Black shaft is best suited for those with aggressive swing transitions and a desire for a more penetrating ball flight.

Overall, the 2024 Ventus line of shafts from Fujikura promises to deliver exceptional performance for golfers of all levels. With advanced technology and materials, these shafts are designed to enhance club performance, improve dispersion, and increase ball speeds. Golfers can look forward to a higher level of accuracy and consistency with the Ventus Red and Ventus Black shaft options, making them a valuable addition to any golfer’s arsenal.
