Mitsubishi has recently launched the latest addition to its Diamana Series, the mid-launching BB profile. The shaft was first spotted at the U.S. Open in June where Phil Mickelson was seen testing it out. Featuring proprietary material and structural technologies, including Consistent Feel Design and Xlink Tech Resin System, the Diamana BB is designed to provide a smooth feel and increase launch trajectory off the tee while maximizing speed and distance.

As a “blue” color-coded Mitsubishi shaft, the Diamana BB is a mid-launch, mid-spin profile suitable for golfers looking to enhance their launch trajectory and overall performance. The shaft’s Xlink Tech Resin System increases strength and durability while driving carbon fiber volume up, resulting in better energy transfer and stability. With 80-ton Dialead pitch fiber in the handle and 46-ton throughout the angle plies, the Diamana BB offers a pure feel and superior performance on the course.

According to Mark Gunther, Senior Director of Sales and Marketing at Mitsubishi Chemical Sporting Goods Division, the new generation of Diamana has garnered excitement from consumers and industry partners. The Diamana BB combines retro cosmetic elements with modern performance characteristics, making it a worthy successor to the original Blue Board profile. Golfers who try the Diamana BB will appreciate its performance and feel, reminiscent of the iconic Diamana Blue Board franchise that started back in 2005.

The Diamana BB is set to be available for pre-order at select retailers starting in mid-July and will be officially released on September 6, 2024, with a retail price of $400. With its advanced technology and design, the Diamana BB is expected to appeal to golfers looking for a high-performance shaft that delivers consistent results on the course. The new shaft series goes beyond its retro cosmetic appeal, offering golfers a combination of style and performance that is synonymous with the Diamana brand.

In conclusion, the Diamana BB represents the latest innovation in the Diamana Series, combining advanced materials and technologies to provide golfers with a superior shaft option for maximizing their performance on the course. With its mid-launch, mid-spin profile and proprietary design features, the Diamana BB offers a smooth feel and increased launch trajectory, allowing golfers to achieve optimal speed and distance off the tee. Whether you are a professional golfer or a recreational player, the Diamana BB is designed to enhance your overall performance and deliver consistent results round after round. Experience the next generation of shaft technology with the all-new Diamana BB and take your game to the next level.
