NFL Pro Bowl cornerback Patrick Peterson is a golf enthusiast who has had the opportunity to play at some of the top courses in the world. In a recent interview on GOLF’s Subpar, Peterson shared his experiences playing at famous courses such as St. Andrews, Kingsbarnes, Cypress, Pebble Beach, and the Melbournes. His favorite among these iconic courses was the Old Course at St. Andrews, citing its rich history and challenging conditions during his round.

During his trip to Augusta National, Peterson had a dream round where he shot a 77 and experienced the course in prime condition. He was particularly captivated by the history of the Old Course and made sure to capture memorable moments, such as walking down the 18th fairway and taking pictures on the Swilcan Bridge. This course holds a special place in the hearts of many golfers, including some of the biggest names in the sport.

While the Old Course may be Peterson’s favorite, he also had the opportunity to play at other top-ranked courses such as Cypress Point and Pebble Beach. Cypress Point is ranked No. 2 on GOLF’s list of Top 100 Courses in the U.S., while Pebble Beach holds the No. 9 spot. Additionally, Peterson played at Royal Melbourne’s East and West courses, which are ranked No. 92 and No. 7 on GOLF’s Top 100 World list.

In addition to sharing his experiences at these prestigious courses, Peterson discussed his passion for golf and his friendly competitions with former Arizona Cardinals teammate Larry Fitzgerald. He enjoys the camaraderie and competitiveness of the game, as well as the opportunity to travel and play at top courses around the world. Peterson’s love for golf transcends his success in the NFL and allows him to connect with other players and fans of the sport.

Overall, Peterson’s journey through the world of golf showcases the universal appeal of the game and its ability to bring people together from different backgrounds. His experiences at courses like St. Andrews and Augusta National demonstrate the unique challenges and rewards of playing at some of the most renowned venues in the sport. Whether on the gridiron or the fairway, Peterson’s passion for excellence and competition shines through in his approach to golf and his interactions with fellow players.

In conclusion, Patrick Peterson’s golf adventures highlight the intersection of sports and leisure, showcasing the opportunities that fame and success in one field can bring in another. His admiration for the history and tradition of the game is evident in his favorite courses and memorable rounds, including his dream round at Augusta National.
