Tiger Woods recently announced his new TaylorMade apparel line, Sun Day Red, ahead of the Woods-hosted Genesis Invitational at Riviera Country Club. The new collection features six men’s apparel pieces, including golf shirts, hoodies, jackets, and pullovers. While the Sun Day Red website is live, products won’t be available until May 1. The line is highlighted by Woods’ iconic red golf shirt, featuring a minimalist design with the Sun Day Red logo. The brand aims to symbolize Woods’ relentless pursuit of excellence and mental fortitude under pressure.

In addition to the red golf shirt, the Sun Day Red line includes a second golf shirt with a bold black and gray abstract design resembling a tiger’s prey. The new collection also features a black hoodie with the SDR tiger logo, which has 15 stripes representing Woods’ 15 majors. The meticulous craftsmanship of Sun Day Red is meant to reflect the unwavering focus that has defined Woods’ legendary career. The partnership between Woods and TaylorMade was hinted at in a trademark filing in December that revealed the tiger logo and Sunday Red name.

Woods’ choice to wear red on Sundays has become a symbol of his dominance on the golf course. The color red is considered a power color in Thailand, where Woods’ mother is from, influencing his decision to make it his signature color. Throughout his career with Nike, Woods has sported red in various forms, including golf shirts, mocknecks, sweaters, and vests. Following his switch to FootJoy shoes in 2022, Woods is expected to continue wearing the brand for the foreseeable future.

The announcement of the Sun Day Red collection has generated significant buzz among golf enthusiasts and fans of Tiger Woods. The brand’s focus on quality and symbolism reflects the values that have guided Woods throughout his career. The new line is expected to be highly popular and in-demand among consumers looking to channel Woods’ winning mentality and iconic style. As Woods continues to make his mark on the world of golf, his partnership with TaylorMade is sure to leave a lasting legacy in the sport.
