The highly anticipated TGL presented by SoFi, a new tech-focused prime time golf league set to debut in January next year, has finalized its roster with a star-studded Jupiter Links Golf Club team featuring Tiger Woods, Max Homa, Tom Kim, and Kevin Kisner. Tiger Woods, part-owner of Jupiter Links Golf Club and co-founder of TMRW Sports, expressed his confidence in the team’s ability to represent the Jupiter area and connect with fans for years to come.
Max Homa, a six-time PGA Tour winner ranked no. 9 in the world, is thrilled to play alongside his childhood inspiration, Tiger Woods. Tom Kim, a three-time PGA Tour winner from South Korea, is excited to join forces with Woods, Homa, and Kisner as teammates. Kevin Kisner, a four-time PGA Tour champion, is honored to have the opportunity to compete against and alongside Tiger Woods, whom he has admired throughout his career.
Jupiter Links Golf Club’s team has been financially backed by US entrepreneur David Blitzer, whose company owns or has stakes in various sports teams including the Philadelphia 76ers and Crystal Palace FC. The team’s logo, featuring a palm tree and golf flag with a handwritten font, embodies a ‘Florida beach vibe’.
TGL presented by SoFi will launch with six teams of PGA Tour superstars, including Atlanta Drive GC, Boston Common Golf, Jupiter Links Golf Club, Los Angeles Golf Club, New York Golf Club, and the final team set in San Francisco. The league will showcase a progressive, shorter format of team golf with a custom-built arena at SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, on the campus of Palm Beach State College.
The innovative league aims to engage fans through advanced technology and live action, offering a fresh take on traditional golf tournaments. With premier players like Tiger Woods, Max Homa, Tom Kim, and Kevin Kisner on board, TGL is poised to change the landscape of golf entertainment in the US.
Fans can look forward to exciting matchups and strategic gameplay as the Jupiter Links Golf Club team, led by Tiger Woods, takes on their competitors in TGL presented by SoFi. With a focus on fun, competition, and connection with fans, the team is gearing up to make their mark in the world of professional golf.
