4 Key Points About the Scotty Cameron 2025 Studio Style Putters

Scotty Cameron is celebrating the 20th anniversary of his original Studio Style putter line by relaunching it with modern technology. The new 2025 Studio Style putters offer a significant re-design of the blade line, incorporating new technologies and manufacturing methods to enhance performance. One notable change is the use of Studio Carbon Steel inserts, which provide a soft feel and greater dampening capacity compared to previous models. These inserts also undergo an electroless nickel plating process to prevent rusting and increase durability.

Another key feature of the new Studio Style putters is the chain-link milling technology on the face of the putters. This pattern helps to achieve a soft feel, dampen sound, and improve distance control by tuning the speeds of the ball coming off the face. The chain-link pattern is both functional and elegant, creating an industrial look while enhancing performance. The new putters also introduce mid-mallet shapes with high-contrast alignment and stability, offering blade and mallet players new high-performance options.

The 2025 Studio Style line includes 12 models, with familiar shapes such as the Newport and Newport 2, as well as re-designed mid-mallets like Scotty’s Squareback and Fastback shapes. These shapes feature a ring-weighted build using aluminum pieces to extend the size of the putters and create alignment aids. The contrasting design of these putters highlights front and rear blades for improved alignment, catering to players who rely on design features for alignment assistance.

In addition to the classic Newport and Newport 2 shapes, the Studio Style line includes wider body versions like the Newport+ and Newport 2+, as well as the Squareback and Fastback shapes in various configurations. The Catalina putter, a fan favorite from the late 90s, also makes a return to the retail lineup as a wide-body blade putter with modern features. Left-handed options are available for select models, catering to a wider range of players.

The Studio Style putters will be available for pre-order starting on Feb. 25 and will arrive in golf shops on March 14. Standard configuration putters will retail for $499, while Long Design models will cost $549. Each putter comes with a new Full Contact Slim paddle-style grip featuring a chain-link texture, as well as Scotty’s iconic 7 Point Crown engraved on the face with red milled cherry bombs in the cavity. Golfers looking to update their bag for 2025 can find a True Spec fitting location near them for a personalized fitting experience.
