The PGA Tour Champions has recently announced its schedule of tournaments for the 2025 season, featuring 25 regular-season events, three playoff stops, and a record-breaking $69 million in prize money. The schedule includes a new tournament, the James Hardie Pro Football Hall of Fame Invitational in Boca Raton, Florida, as well as a revamped American Family Insurance Championship now featuring a two-man team format at the TPC Wisconsin. The season will kick off once again at the Mitsubishi Electric Championship at Hualalai in Hawaii, marking the 29th consecutive year that the tour has started its season at the Hualalai Golf Course.

The 2025 PGA Tour Champions season will culminate with the Charles Schwab Cup Championship at the Phoenix Country Club, serving as the season finale on November 13-16. The season will also feature five majors, including the Regions Tradition, Senior PGA Championship, Kaulig Companies Championship, U.S. Senior Open, and the Senior Open Championship, hosted in various locations across the United States and England.

In addition to the major tournaments, the 2025 Champions tour will travel to three countries – Morocco, England, and Canada – as well as visiting 20 states throughout the season. The total prize money of nearly $70 million is the highest in the tour’s 45-year history, highlighting the continued growth and success of the PGA Tour Champions.

PGA Tour Champions president, Miller Brady, expressed excitement for the upcoming season, stating, “Next season promises even greater heights for the Champions Tour, as we continue to build on the tremendous foundation already in place.” The tour’s partnership with title sponsors and tournaments has been instrumental in the increased purses and charitable support in local communities where events are hosted.

All 28 events on the 2025 PGA Tour Champions schedule will be broadcast on the Golf Channel, with two events, the Senior PGA and the Senior U.S. Open, also being televised on NBC on the weekends. Additionally, most tournaments will be streamed on Peacock, providing fans with even more access to watch their favorite players compete on the Champions tour.

As the PGA Tour Champions continues to grow in popularity and competitiveness, the 2025 season promises to be a thrilling and highly anticipated year for golf fans around the world. With an exciting lineup of tournaments, record prize money, and a strong field of players, the Champions tour is set to deliver top-notch golf entertainment throughout the upcoming season.
