Bandon Dunes Golf Resort in coastal Oregon is a highly popular destination for golf enthusiasts, featuring five highly ranked 18-hole courses. The resort has announced a new pre-reservation methodology for scoring a tee time, with registration already open for 2026. This means that planning early is crucial, as the registration windows for tee times are closing well in advance.

The three registration windows for 2026 tee times are based on the time of year in which a golfer hopes to obtain a tee time. The first window, closing on December 24, is for tee times in January through April 2026. The second window, closing on January 19, 2025, is for tee times in May through September 2026. The third window, closing on April 20, 2025, is for tee times in October through December 2026.

After the close of each registration window, there will be a random drawing to determine the order for reservation requests. Those chosen in the drawing will be assigned a number indicating their place in line, and will be contacted by the resort’s booking team when it’s their turn to select dates and courses. This new system was implemented due to the high call volume they have experienced during previous booking windows.

Bandon Dunes Golf Resort’s five 18-hole courses include Bandon Dunes, Pacific Dunes, Bandon Trails, Old Macdonald, and Sheep Ranch. The resort also features two par-3 courses, Bandon Preserve and the new Shorty’s. With a range of accommodations and restaurants, the resort has become a popular destination for bucket list buddies trips since it opened 25 years ago.

In order to experience the renowned courses and amenities at Bandon Dunes Golf Resort, it is important to plan well in advance and take advantage of the new pre-reservation methodology for scoring a tee time.
