How to Watch TV Coverage and Streaming

The BMW Championship, the second leg of the FedEx Cup Playoffs, is set to take place at Castle Pines Golf Club in Castle Rock, Colo. The tournament features the top 50 players in the FedEx Cup standings, with only the top 30 qualifying for the Tour Championship. Among the players competing for the $4 million winner’s prize and a chance at the $25 million FedEx Cup first-place payout are Scottie Scheffler, Xander Schauffele, and Rory McIlroy.

The BMW Championship will be televised on Golf Channel and NBC, with coverage also available for streaming on ESPN+ and Peacock. The tournament will take place from Thursday, August 22nd to Sunday, August 25th, with a purse of $20 million and the defending champion being Viktor Hovland. The TV schedule for the event includes coverage on Thursday and Friday from 3-7 p.m. ET on Golf Channel, and on Saturday and Sunday with additional coverage on NBC.

For online streaming, viewers can watch the BMW Championship on Peacock and PGA Tour Live on ESPN+. ESPN+ will feature exclusive early coverage and featured group coverage starting at 10:15 a.m. ET on Thursday and Friday, and 9 a.m. ET on Saturday and Sunday. Peacock will offer simulcasts of Golf Channel and NBC’s TV coverage. Tee times for the tournament have not been released yet, but will be available closer to the event.
