The Keiser family, known for their successful development of Bandon Dunes Golf Resort in Oregon, is expanding their portfolio with a new resort named Wild Springs Dunes in East Texas. This new project will feature two courses designed by some of the biggest names in golf course architecture, including Tom Doak and the team of Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw. The resort will also include a short course, a practice center, cabins, and a clubhouse, making it a complete golfing destination.

Situated on a 2,400-acre site near Nacogdoches, Wild Springs Dunes is strategically located within a triangle formed by Houston, Dallas, and Shreveport, Louisiana. This prime location provides easy access for golf enthusiasts from across the region. The terrain of the resort features significant elevation changes and four distinct ecosystems, offering a unique and challenging golfing experience in a picturesque setting.

Wild Springs Dunes is part of Dream Golf, the collective of courses and resorts operated by the Keiser family. This includes other successful projects such as Bandon Dunes, Sand Valley, and the upcoming Rodeo Dunes in Colorado. With a track record of developing world-class golf destinations, the Keiser family continues to innovate and expand their offerings to provide golfers with unforgettable experiences.

The Keiser brothers, Chris and Michael, are known for their successful development of Sand Valley in Wisconsin, which was a resounding success. Wild Springs Dunes is the latest addition to their growing portfolio, with plans for further expansion in the future. The brothers have already secured early members for the new resort, offering exclusive perks such as covered green fees and early access to potential real estate developments.

Tom Doak, known for his work on courses like the Lido at Sand Valley and the new Sedge Valley, is responsible for one of the courses at Wild Springs Dunes. He plans to maximize the unique elevation changes of the site to create a memorable golfing experience. Coore and Crenshaw, who have a long-standing relationship with the Keiser family, are also designing a course at the resort, leveraging the sandy terrain and natural features of the site.

Wild Springs Dunes promises to be a golfing destination unlike any other in Texas, with a focus on providing an exceptional experience for golfers of all skill levels. The Keiser family’s commitment to quality and innovation ensures that the resort will be a premier destination for golf enthusiasts seeking a unique and challenging golfing experience. With the involvement of top architects and a prime location, Wild Springs Dunes is poised to become a must-visit destination for golfers in East Texas and beyond.
