Kevin Kisner, a 40-year-old professional golfer, has been appointed as the lead analyst for NBC Sports golf coverage in 2025. This decision comes after a series of changes in the analyst lineup during the 2024 season. Kisner is expected to be in the booth for NBC’s weekend coverage of most events throughout the 2025 season. An official announcement is set to be made soon, as reported by Sports Business Journal.

Despite his new role as a lead analyst, Kisner will continue to play in some PGA Tour events while fulfilling his commitment to the TGL, which kicks off in January. This dual role showcases Kisner’s dedication to both playing and analyzing the game of golf. The transition into the broadcasting world comes following the end of Paul Azinger’s five-year tenure as NBC’s lead analyst in 2023. Azinger will now be leading the analysis for PGA Tour Champions events in 2025.

Kisner’s commentary will be alongside veteran broadcaster Dan Hicks at NBC’s major events, including the Players Championship, U.S. Open, and Open Championship. This partnership between the two will bring a fresh perspective to the viewers, combining Kisner’s insights as a player and Hicks’ expertise as a commentator. The addition of Kisner to the broadcasting team reflects NBC’s commitment to providing quality coverage of golf tournaments.

Throughout the 2024 golf coverage season, various on-air talents such as Brandel Chamblee and Luke Donald had the opportunity to serve as lead analysts for NBC. These changes in the analyst line-up allowed for different perspectives and insights to be shared with viewers, enriching the overall broadcasting experience. As Kisner steps into the lead analyst role for 2025, he brings a wealth of experience and knowledge from his years competing on the PGA Tour.

For Kisner, the role of lead analyst in 2025 is more than just a hobby – it is a lifestyle. His dedication to the game of golf, both as a player and now as an analyst, demonstrates his passion for the sport. By immersing himself in the world of broadcasting, Kisner has the opportunity to share his expertise and love for golf with a wider audience. His presence in the booth will undoubtedly enhance the viewing experience for fans of the game.

As Kisner embarks on this new chapter in his career, fans can expect to hear his unique perspective and analysis during NBC’s golf coverage in 2025. With a blend of on-course experience and broadcasting talent, Kisner is well-positioned to offer valuable insights into the intricacies of the game. His partnership with Dan Hicks and other members of the NBC broadcasting team promises to deliver engaging and informative coverage of golf events throughout the season.

In conclusion, Kevin Kisner’s appointment as the lead analyst for NBC Sports golf coverage in 2025 marks an exciting development in his career. By taking on this new role, Kisner has the opportunity to showcase his expertise and passion for the game of golf in a different capacity. As he transitions from player to analyst, Kisner’s insights and commentary are sure to enrich the viewer experience and provide a deeper understanding of the game. With his continued commitment to playing on the PGA Tour alongside his broadcasting duties, Kisner is poised to make a significant impact on the world of golf in the coming year.
