Local qualifiers to be offered six spots in Asian Tour event at Foxhills

Golfers in the UK have an exciting opportunity to compete against some of the biggest names in golf at the International Series England tournament, taking place at Foxhills Club & Resort in Surrey from August 8-11. This Asian Tour sanctioned event is a part of The International Series 2024 schedule, which offers a pathway for golfers from around the world to join the LIV Golf League.

To secure a spot in the tournament, golfers can participate in a qualifying event on June 17 at the club’s Longcross course. With a field of 144 players competing over 18 holes of strokeplay, six spots will be available for the main event. The tournament will feature top talent from the Asian Tour and players from the LIV Golf League roster, providing a competitive platform for professional golfers and elite amateurs alike.

The International Series not only offers an opportunity for golfers to showcase their skills on a global stage but also serves as a platform for emerging local talent to gain valuable experience. Each of the ten events on the Asian Tour calendar aims to develop the territories visited over the course of the season, fostering growth and excellence in the sport of golf.

Professional golfers and elite amateurs with handicaps below five are encouraged to register for the qualifying tournament before the deadline on June 9. More details and registration information can be found on the event’s website, offering golfers the chance to compete against top international talent and potentially earn a spot on the LIV Golf League.

The International Series England tournament at Foxhills Club & Resort promises to be a thrilling event for both players and spectators alike.
