Max Homa is starting off the year 2025 with new gear, including equipment, apparel, and shoes. After going winless in 2024, the six-time PGA Tour winner has signed deals with Cobra Golf for his clubs, Puma Golf for his footwear, and Lululemon for his apparel. This week at The Sentry, Homa will be teeing it up with a Cobra driver, irons, and wedges, after being a Titleist staffer since turning pro in 2014. His bag includes a new DS-Adapt LS driver in the C6 setting with a Fujikura Ventus Velocore+ 7X shaft, a custom-built set of irons, Cobra Snakebite wedges, and a custom Cobra King lob wedge, along with his trusty Scotty Cameron T5.5 prototype flat stick.
In addition to new clubs, Homa has also switched up his footwear and apparel sponsors. He is no longer with FootJoy and is now wearing Puma shoes, while becoming Lululemon’s second PGA Tour ambassador after Min Woo Lee. Homa expressed his excitement about joining the Cobra Puma Golf team, stating that the gear is on the cutting edge of technology and the shoes are the most comfortable in the game. He believes that the clubs will give him a competitive advantage and is looking forward to a long-term relationship with the brands.
Ranked 41st in the world, Homa described joining Lululemon as a “dream come true.” He is thrilled to work with such an iconic brand that already takes up most of his wardrobe with workout and lounge apparel. Homa emphasized the importance of community in golf, mentioning that success is shared with those around him and how looking good and feeling good influences his performance on the course. He subscribes to the idea of “look good, feel good, play good” and is excited to make his first start of 2025 in Hawaii at The Sentry.
Homa’s partnership with Cobra Golf includes using the new DS-ADAPT LS driver, which he loves for its look, sound, and feel. He is impressed with the performance of the clubs after testing with the Cobra Tour and R&D team, and believes they will provide him with a competitive advantage on the course. The new FutureFit33 hosel on the driver is a game changer for fine-tuning performance. Homa is looking forward to a fun and exciting long-term relationship with Cobra Puma Golf and is excited about the possibilities for the future.
As a US Ryder Cup star, Homa’s decision to switch to Cobra and Puma reflects his desire for cutting-edge technology and comfort in his gear. The performance of the clubs, combined with the style and personality of the brands, are a natural fit for his game. With Lululemon, he is thrilled to work with a brand that he already loves and feels a connection to. His passion for golf and the importance of community in the sport are evident in his excitement about sharing success with those around him. Homa’s new gear and partnerships mark the beginning of an exciting chapter in his career as he looks to build on his success on the PGA Tour in 2025.
