The Ole Miss men’s golf team has achieved the number one spot for the first time in the Bushnell/Golfweek Div. I Coaches Poll. With two fall tournament wins and finishing no lower than second in two others, the Rebels received 15 first-place votes and 489 total points, vaulting them from sixth to the top spot. Following closely behind are Oklahoma in second place, Auburn in third with one first-place vote, Arizona State in fourth, and Texas in fifth.

In the Div. I ranking, other notable universities include LSU at sixth, Virginia at seventh, North Carolina at eighth, Oklahoma State at ninth, and Arizona rounding out the top ten. The rankings demonstrate the competitive nature of collegiate men’s golf, with teams like Mississippi State, Texas Tech, and SMU also making the list. Additionally, schools including Duke, Tennessee, and Alabama are represented in the top twenty-five.

Moving on to the Bushnell/Golfweek Div. II Coaches Poll, Colorado Christian holds onto its number-one ranking for the fourth consecutive time. The Cougars have stayed dominant by winning six straight tournaments, including last season’s national championship. Notable programs like North Georgia, Oklahoma Christian, and West Florida follow closely behind.

In the Div. III Tier, Washington & Lee has secured the top spot for the first time ever, dethroning Methodist. The Generals broke team records en route to winning the Golfweek October Classic, earning them ten first-place votes and 274 points. Schools like Illinois Wesleyan, Emory, and Sewanee make up the rest of the top five in this poll.

Transitioning to the NAIA Coaches Poll, Dalton State reigns as the number one team for the sixth consecutive time. With seven first-place votes and 247 points, the Roadrunners have proven themselves as the top program. Other standouts in the NAIA category include Oklahoma City, Keiser, and Lindsey Wilson.

Finally, in the NJCAA Div. I Coaches Poll, Midland clinches the top spot for the third poll in a row. They narrowly edge out Hutchinson, who sits in second place. While in the Div. II category, a tie exists between Mississippi Gulf Coast and Parkland, showcasing the competitiveness among junior college golf programs. Each of these polls highlight the talent and dedication of college golf teams across different divisions.
