Prize money breakdown for PGA Tour players at the 2024 Genesis Scottish Open

Robert MacIntyre emerged victorious at the 2024 Genesis Scottish Open by birdying the final hole, claiming his second PGA Tour win of the season and a substantial paycheck of $1.62 million. His stunning performance in the tournament included finishing the last five holes at 4 under to catch up with Adam Scott, who ultimately settled for second place and $981,000 in earnings. The third spot went to Romain Langasque, who earned $621,000, while Rory McIlroy and Ludvig Aberg tied for fourth place.

The total purse for the tournament was $9 million, and the prize money payouts were distributed among the top finishers accordingly. Players like Aaron Rai, Sahith Theegala, Collin Morikawa, and Sungjae Im shared the fourth-place earnings of $330,750 each. Other top performers who secured substantial payouts included Richard Mansell, Wyndham Clark, Victor Perez, Alex Noren, and Corey Conners, who all tied for the tenth spot with earnings of $209,250 each.

Further down the leaderboard, players like Tom Kim, Niklas Norgaard Moller, Alejandro Del Rey, Connor Syme, Xander Schauffele, and Matteo Manassero tied for fifteenth place, each pocketing $141,750. Brian Harman, Max Greyserman, Haotong Li, Rasmus Højgaard, and Maximilian Kieffer shared the twenty-first spot with earnings of $94,410 each. Si Woo Kim, Nick Bachem, Jorge Campillo, Thomas Detry, Cam Davis, Yannik Paul, Matthew Jordan, and Antoine Rozner tied for twenty-sixth place, each earning $63,000.

The remaining spots on the leaderboard included players like Jesper Svensson, Harris English, Kurt Kitayama, Adam Hadwin, Tommy Fleetwood, Shubhankar Sharma, Thorbjørn Olesen, Grant Forrest, Matt Fitzpatrick, Ben Griffin, and Nicolai Højgaard among others, each securing varying amounts of prize money based on their performance in the tournament. The payouts extended all the way down to the seventy-fourth spot, with Taylor Montgomery earning $17,190 for his efforts.
