Robert MacIntyre pulls out of Memorial tournament following first PGA Tour victory

Robert MacIntyre is making headlines in the golfing world with his first PGA Tour win, but he has decided to withdraw from the Memorial, a prestigious event with a high prize purse. After five consecutive events, including the U.S. Open and the Canadian Open where he clinched his victory, MacIntyre felt the need for some rest before tackling his upcoming schedule.

The Scottish golfer expressed his need for rest after his win at the RBC Canadian Open and opted out of a U.S. Open qualifier to take a break. He had initially planned to play at the Memorial and the Travelers Championship following the U.S. Open but decided to prioritize his well-being before diving back into tournament play.
