Scotty Cameron Introduces Innovative Face Insert for Latest Studio Style Putter Collection

Scotty Cameron has recently released their highly anticipated 2025 Studio Style lineup of putters, which includes 12 models that feature both refined versions of classic designs and completely new offerings. One of the standout features of this new collection is the introduction of the Studio Carbon Steel (SCS) face insert, which is designed to provide a soft feel that golfers desire. The chain-link design of the face insert is not only visually striking but also contributes to improved sound and feedback upon impact. This new material and milling technique is a result of valuable feedback from tour players, ensuring that these putters meet the high standards of elite golfers.

The Studio Carbon Steel insert is complemented by a precision-crafted main body that is soft milled in the USA. Aerospace-inspired vibration dampening technology is also incorporated into the design to enhance feel and feedback, creating a next-generation blade and mid-mallet putter family. The revamped Studio Style lineup includes classic blade models like the Newport, Newport 2, and Newport Plus, as well as new mid-mallet designs such as the Fastback and Squareback. These mid-mallet putters feature a ‘ring weighted’ design for increased MOI and stability, as well as multi-material visual technology for improved alignment and clubface squaring at address.

Senior Director of Putter R&D at Scotty Cameron, Austie Rollinson, explains the innovative approach taken in developing the Studio Style putter line, stating that the Studio Carbon Steel insert offers greater damping capacity than traditional materials like Teryllium, stainless steel, and aluminum. The chain-link face milling further softens the sound at impact, enhancing performance and maximizing feel for golfers of all skill levels. The attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship is evident in every aspect of the design, making these putters a standout choice for golfers looking to improve their performance on the green.

The 2025 Scotty Cameron Studio Style putters will be available worldwide starting on March 14th, 2025, with standard models priced at £449 and Long Design variants priced at £499. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a weekend warrior, these putters offer a blend of timeless design and cutting-edge technology that is sure to enhance your putting game.
