The 2024 John Deere Classic at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, IL is set to offer a $7,800,000 prize, and Erik Barnes will be one of the golfers competing for the title. Barnes has participated in 13 events in the past 12 months, with his best finish being second place and an average finish of 42nd. Despite this, he has not yet posted the best score of the day in any of his tournaments. If you’re looking to catch Barnes in action, here is all the information you need about the event and how to watch it live on TV or through live stream.

The John Deere Classic will take place from July 4-7, 2024, with coverage spread across various channels. The Golf Channel will cover the event on Thursday and Friday, while CBS and Golf Channel will broadcast on Saturday and Sunday. The tournament will be held at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, IL, and you can catch the action live by signing up for a free trial of Fubo for access to the live stream.

Erik Barnes’ tee times for the event are scheduled for 9:57 AM ET for Round 1 and 3:17 PM ET for Round 2. If you want to follow Barnes throughout the entire PGA Tour season, including featured groups and live feeds, you can sign up for ESPN+ to access PGA Tour Live. Additionally, Fubo offers nationally televised tour action and other live sports, shows, and news from various cable channels.

In his recent form, Barnes has struggled to make an impact, with no top 20 finishes in his last five events and only one made cut. He has not been in contention in any recent tournaments, failing to post a score better than the field average or finish within five shots of the leader. However, in his only made cut, Barnes posted a final score of 3 relative to par.

TPC Deere Run, measuring 7,289 yards, presents a challenge to the golfers as a par-71 course for the tournament. The recent average tournament score at TPC Deere Run has been -10, lower than the Tour scoring average of -5 across all courses in the past year. Despite playing on longer courses over the past year, Barnes has struggled to match the scoring averages, with most events he has played having a scoring average of -7 among finishers, higher than the -10 average at TPC Deere Run.

If you don’t want to miss Erik Barnes in action at the 2024 John Deere Classic, be sure to sign up for Fubo to access live sports and shows without needing a cable subscription. Keep in mind that Golfweek may earn an affiliate fee if you make a purchase through the links provided, but this does not impact their independent coverage of the events in the golfing world.
