Keegan Bradley had a strong start at the 2024 BMW Championship at Castle Pines, Colorado, shooting an opening 6-under 66 to take the lead. Despite weather delays, Bradley was able to complete his round before play was suspended, putting him one shot ahead of Hideki Matsuyama. The Castle Pines course is the longest in PGA Tour history, measuring 8,130 yards and is a par-72. The purse for the championship is $20 million, with $4 million going to the winner along with 2,000 FedEx Cup points.

For those looking to follow the action, tee times for the second round of the BMW Championship have been released. Fans can catch the tournament on ESPN+ and Golf Channel/Peacock, with coverage starting as early as 10:15 a.m. ET on Friday. Sirius XM will also be broadcasting live from 1-7 p.m. ET. Saturday and Sunday’s coverage will continue on Golf Channel, NBC, and Sirius XM, with ESPN+ offering coverage starting at 9 a.m. ET.

The BMW Championship is a crucial event in the FedEx Cup playoff series, with players vying for both the prize money and the FedEx Cup points that come with a victory. With Bradley leading the pack after the first round, competitors will be looking to close the gap and secure a strong finish in the tournament. The course at Castle Pines presents a unique challenge due to its length, requiring players to have both distance and accuracy in their shots.

As the exclusive home of PGA Tour Live, ESPN+ will provide comprehensive coverage of the BMW Championship, allowing fans to follow their favorite players throughout the weekend. In addition to live streaming, Golf Channel and NBC will also be airing coverage of the tournament, giving viewers multiple options for tuning in. Sirius XM subscribers can listen to live commentary and updates from the event as well.

The BMW Championship marks a significant opportunity for players to solidify their positions in the FedEx Cup standings and earn valuable points towards a potential playoff berth. With $4 million on the line for the winner and a total purse of $20 million, the stakes are high for those competing in the tournament. As the action continues to unfold at Castle Pines, fans can expect to see some intense competition and exciting moments from the world’s top golfers on the PGA Tour.
