The Memorial Tournament is taking place at Muirfield Village Golf Club in Dublin, Ohio, with a stacked field that includes top players like defending champion Viktor Hovland, world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy, Xander Schauffele, Collin Morikawa, Ludvig Aberg, Patrick Cantlay, and Justin Thomas. The tournament offers a $20 million purse, with the winner taking home $4 million and 700 FedEx Cup points. The top 50 players and ties and those within 10 shots of the lead will make the cut on Friday to advance to the weekend rounds.

Muirfield Village Golf Club, with a par of 72 and spanning 7,571 yards, is the stage for this prestigious event. The course history shows that scoring has toughened since the 2020 renovation, with an average finish position and Strokes Gained per round since 2015. It is considered the 12th most predictive annual course on the PGA Tour. Bettors are keeping a close eye on players like Scottie Scheffler, Xander Schauffele, Rory McIlroy, and Collin Morikawa as the favorites to win the tournament.

In terms of picks to win, Rory McIlroy, despite not playing his best golf recently, is a favorite thanks to his strong performances leading up to the tournament. Max Homa, coming off a T-8 finish at the Wells Fargo Championship, is a solid bet at 40/1 odds. Sam Burns, who finished in the top 10 at the RBC Canadian Open, is another player to watch. Stephan Jaeger, who has shown improvement in his driving distance, is a dark horse pick for the tournament. Lee Hodges, known for his long-shot performances, could also surprise with a strong showing.

As the tournament unfolds, fans and bettors alike will be watching closely to see who emerges as the top contenders. With the U.S. Open at Pinehurst No. 2 on the horizon, players will be looking to build momentum and confidence with a strong performance at the Memorial Tournament. Stay tuned for updates on the leaderboard and analysis of key plays throughout the event.
