As a professional golfer, hitting a standout shot can make all the difference in a tournament. One such memorable shot for me was the 6-iron I hit on the 16th hole in the final round of the 2024 Honda LPGA Thailand. It was a tough par 3 of 176 yards, and I focused on the target like a sniper and managed to make birdie, securing the win with another birdie on the 18th hole.
In terms of equipment, my driver of choice is the Titleist TSR2 with an 8° head and a Mitsubishi Tensei 1K Pro Blue 50 S shaft. The larger head and forgiving nature of this driver suit my game well. I also use a TaylorMade SIM2 Ti for my 3-wood, paired with a Mitsubishi Tensei Blue 60 S shaft. This club helps reduce spin and is versatile off the tee and the fairway.
For my irons, I rely on the Titleist T200 4-iron and T100 5-iron through PW. The graphite design and Nippon NS Pro 950GH S shafts offer me the ability to flight the ball effectively in various situations. Additionally, my Titleist Vokey SM10 wedges with Nippon NS Pro Modus3 115 shafts provide versatility and spin control around the greens.
On the greens, I trust my Bettinardi Studio Stock 3 tour prototype putter, which has been a reliable companion for me. I also use the Titleist Pro V1x golf ball for its feedback and spin capabilities. Nutrition-wise, I keep it simple with protein bars, electrolytes, and bananas to maintain my energy levels during rounds.
Off the course, I have a fondness for the Sanrio character Kuromi, similar to Hello Kitty but with a more edgy appeal. This character resonated with me in my younger years. Overall, having the right equipment, mental focus, and nutritional support contributes to my success as a professional golfer. I continue to fine-tune my game and equipment to perform at my best on the course.
