FootJoy’s 2023 focus on offering a comprehensive outerwear collection for golfers, with a wide range of rain jackets to keep players dry and warm in any weather conditions. The review will focus on two premium rain jackets, the HydroLite X and the HydroTour, each offering unique features and benefits. The HydroTour rain jacket is bolder in design, with contrasting colorways and waterproof seams highlighted in different colors. In comparison, the HydroLite X offers a more monochromatic look in four of the six available color options.

Both the HydroLite X and HydroTour rain jackets provide a true fit to size, allowing ample room for swing and mobility without the need to size up. The HydroLite X is lightweight and versatile, with enough space to add a layer for colder temperatures. On the other hand, the HydroTour is slightly thicker and provides a perfect fit over a single layer, making it suitable for colder weather on its own. The HydroTour rain jacket features a unique length and bottom design, providing the ideal coverage while ensuring a comfortable fit around the torso.

Performance-wise, both rain jackets offer exceptional waterproofing, with a two-year waterproof warranty and dual sealed seams that keep water out effectively. The jackets feature waterproof zippered pockets for added convenience, with excellent depth for storing personal items securely. The waterproof cuff design of both jackets includes a combination of Velcro adjustability and elastic, ensuring a snug fit without compromising comfort. The HydroTour rain jacket includes a Golf Collar with DrySeal technology, providing added protection from the elements with a unique design that allows water to escape from the back of the jacket.

FootJoy’s HydroLite X is ideal for warmer temperatures, offering lightweight and breathable fabric for comfort during summer rain showers. In contrast, the HydroTour rain jacket is designed for cooler, rainy days, providing additional warmth and protection in inclement weather. Whether playing in the rain during the summer or extending the golf season into cooler months, FootJoy’s range of rain jackets has options for every golfer’s needs. For golfers looking for high-quality outerwear to enhance their performance on the course, FootJoy’s HydroLite X and HydroTour rain jackets offer smart features and a comfortable fit for any weather conditions.
