Arccos continues to lead the way in stat tracking for golf with their innovative club sensors and multi-platform compatibility. Their latest release, the Arccos Link Pro, offers improved battery life, better app connection, and a simpler user experience. In this article, we will explore the setup, ease of use, positive and negative aspects, value proposition, and overall performance of the Arccos Link Pro.

Setting up the Arccos Link Pro is quick and easy, with only an app update required. The device no longer attaches to a belt clip, instead, it sits in your pocket for each round. While this may make it slightly more inconvenient to access the pin button, the device now features a separate power button and pin button, simplifying the user experience.

One of the biggest improvements to the Arccos Link Pro is its extended battery life. During a recent golf trip, the device lasted through 36 holes each day without needing a charge between rounds. The wireless charging case allows for on-the-go charging, providing the flexibility to play multiple rounds without needing access to a power outlet. The Link Pro also offers quicker app connection and better GPS signal, although some round editing may still be required post-round.

While there are many positives to the Arccos Link Pro, there are also some negatives to consider. Removing the belt clip and having to place the device in your pocket may be inconvenient for some users. The pin button could benefit from added feedback to ensure it locks onto the pin location successfully. These limitations may detract from the overall user experience for some golfers.

The value proposition of the Arccos Link Pro depends on the user’s current Arccos experience. For existing Link users, the upgrade may not be necessary unless the extended battery life and wireless charging capabilities are essential. However, for newer Arccos users, the Link Pro offers added convenience and the ability to accurately mark pin locations for more precise stats.

In conclusion, the Arccos Link Pro is a solid upgrade with improved features such as extended battery life and wireless charging. While it may not be a significant leap forward from previous versions, it offers a more streamlined user experience. Whether it is worth the investment depends on the individual golfer’s needs and preferences. Overall, the Arccos Link Pro continues to enhance the stat tracking experience for golfers.
