The 2024 U.S. Open is a memorable event due to Payne Stewart’s heroics and the beeper tucked into Phil Mickelson’s golf bag during the final round. Stewart’s performance during the tournament helped put the little-known putter manufacturer, SeeMore, on the map. Stewart used an original SeeMore Bronze FGP putter to make an incredible 24 putts during the final round, including one-putts on the last three holes, culminating in a 15-footer on the 18th hole to win the U.S. Open in regulation.

SeeMore officials waited in Tennessee to see if Stewart’s victory would result in increased sales for their putters. Over 50,000 orders were placed in the weeks following Stewart’s U.S. Open win, bringing legitimacy to the brand and its patented RifleScopeTechnology alignment system. In the early 2000s, a limited run of commemorative Bronze FGP putters was made as a tribute to Stewart following his tragic death in 1999. Fewer than 1,000 putters were produced, with some remaining in SeeMore’s vault.

Recently, SeeMore decided to release the final 300 remaining commemorative putters to celebrate Stewart’s incredible week at Pinehurst. These putters have a vintage look to them and can be used in play or saved as a keepsake. Each engraved putter is built at 35 inches with a black tour classic grip, matching Stewart’s exact gamer, and includes a black SeeMore headcover and engraved black and bronze scorecard. A portion of the proceeds from each putter will go to the Payne Stewart Family Foundation.

This release of the final 300 putters is a special gear release to celebrate one of the most memorable moments in U.S. Open history. The putters have a limited availability and are priced at $400 each. If you are a collector or a fan of Payne Stewart, this is a unique opportunity to own a piece of golf history. The putters have a vintage look due to their age, but this aging has only made them more beautiful.

For those interested in overhauling their golf bag for the 2024 season, this commemorative putter release is an excellent addition. Each putter comes with an engraved scorecard from Stewart’s U.S. Open victory, adding to its collectibility. The release of the final 300 putters is a way to celebrate and honor Payne Stewart’s remarkable performance at the 1999 U.S. Open, a tournament that will forever be remembered as the “Duel at Pinehurst.”

If you are a golf enthusiast or collector, consider adding one of the final 300 commemorative putters to your collection. The putters are not only a tribute to Stewart’s legacy but also a piece of golf history. This limited release by SeeMore is a special way to commemorate one of the most iconic moments in U.S. Open history and support a charitable cause. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to own a piece of golf history and contribute to a meaningful cause.
