USA GOLF has revealed the four men who will represent the United States at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. Scottie Scheffler, Xander Schauffele, Wyndham Clark, and Collin Morikawa have all qualified to compete for Team USA, with Scheffler ranked No. 1, Schauffele ranked No. 3, Clark ranked No. 5, and Morikawa ranked No. 7 in the men’s Olympic Golf Ranking. Each nation can have a maximum of four players if they are ranked within the top 15 in the world, otherwise, they are limited to two representatives.

Schauffele and Morikawa, who both have previous Olympic experience, will be joined by first-time Olympic competitors Scheffler and Clark. Schauffele won the gold medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, while Morikawa will be making his second Olympic appearance. USA GOLF Executive Director Andy Levinson expressed his pride in announcing the talented team that will represent the United States on a global stage, highlighting the success Team USA has had in previous Olympic golf tournaments.

The Olympic golf tournaments will feature fields of 60 players for both men and women, competing in a 72-hole stroke play format at Le Golf National, the host venue of the 2018 Ryder Cup. While the teams are announced, the Olympic golf competition is an individual event with no team aspect to the scoring. The women’s competition will take place from August 7-10, with the teams set to be finalized following the Women’s PGA Championship on June 24.

Le Golf National in Paris will serve as the backdrop for the Olympic golf events, showcasing the stunning course to the world. The competition will provide a platform for the best golfers from around the globe to showcase their skills and represent their countries on a prestigious stage. The United States, known for producing top golf talent, is sending a strong and competitive team to Paris, with high hopes of continuing their success in Olympic golf.

The players representing Team USA have proven themselves on the golf course, with each member bringing their own strengths and abilities to the team. Scheffler, Schauffele, Clark, and Morikawa will have the opportunity to compete against the best in the world and vie for Olympic glory in the historic city of Paris. As the countdown to the 2024 Olympic Games begins, fans and supporters of golf will be eagerly anticipating the performances of the American team and cheering them on as they aim for success on the Olympic stage.
