Experience the Southern charm at LIV Golf Nashville with a Sweet Tea Dunking Booth

The LIV Golf Nashville event at The Grove in College Grove, Tenn. featured a unique attraction for attendees looking to beat the sweltering heat – the Sweet Tea Dunking Booth. Melissa Rowe, a Murfreesboro resident, signed up to be dunked in a giant vat of sweet tea every time a contestant hit a target by tossing a football. Rowe found the experience to be refreshing and cool, despite being dunked numerous times throughout the day.

The event started with a shotgun start at 12:15 p.m., and Rowe had already been dunked multiple times before it even began. Lexi Reiter, a Franklin resident, attempted to dunk Rowe but narrowly missed the target each time. Determined to win a fan as a prize, Reiter enlisted the help of her boyfriend, former college football player Matt Taft. On his second attempt, Taft successfully hit the target and sent Rowe into the sweet tea.

Taft, who played football at Stetson, noted that the footballs used in the game were foam and required a quick flick of the wrist to hit the target. While Reiter did not win a fan as a prize, she still enjoyed seeing Rowe get dunked in the tea. Despite the lack of a prize, Reiter joked that they would have to find another way to stay cool during the hot day.

The Sweet Tea Dunking Booth added a special southern twist to the inaugural LIV Golf event near Franklin. Rowe found the experience to be enjoyable and not as sticky as one might expect. She mentioned that the tea stayed cool because of the umbrella over the dunking booth, making it a refreshing way to stay cool during the event. Despite the heat, attendees like Rowe were able to have fun and cool off in a unique and entertaining way.

Overall, the Sweet Tea Dunking Booth provided a fun and interactive experience for attendees of the LIV Golf Nashville event at The Grove. Rowe, along with others, enjoyed the activity despite being repeatedly dunked in the sweet tea. The addition of this attraction added to the festive atmosphere of the event and provided a unique way for attendees to stay cool and have fun during a hot summer day. With games and activities like the Sweet Tea Dunking Booth, the event was a success and left attendees with lasting memories of a fun-filled day.
