Florida State University alums John Pak and John Kjettrup both achieved professional victories in golf on Sunday, showcasing the impressive talent coming out of the Seminoles’ program. Kjettrup, who earned an exemption to the PGA Tour Americas after a strong finish in the PGA Tour University rankings, secured his first tour win at The Beachlands Victoria Open in Canada. The Denmark native shot an impressive 21-under and held off his competitors to claim the victory, capping off an exceptional career at FSU where he helped lead the Seminoles to a runner-up finish in the NCAA tournament.

Pak, on the other hand, secured his first win on the Korn Ferry Tour at the Compliance Solutions Championship at Jimmie Austin OU Golf Club in Oklahoma. With a final round score of 2-under 70, Pak was able to clinch the victory and add another professional trophy to his collection. This victory propels Pak from No. 51 to No. 9 on the season-long Korn Ferry Tour Points list, putting him in a strong position to earn a PGA Tour card for the 2025 season. Pak was the first No. 1-ranked player in the PGA Tour University rankings when the system was introduced in 2021, showcasing his talent and potential for success at the highest levels of professional golf.

The success of both Kjettrup and Pak highlights the strength of the Florida State golf program in developing top-tier talent for the professional ranks. Their victories serve as a testament to the hard work and dedication of both the players and the coaching staff at FSU, who have consistently produced competitive and successful golfers. The Seminoles’ continued success on the professional circuit further solidifies their reputation as a powerhouse program in collegiate golf, attracting top recruits and cultivating a culture of excellence and achievement.

As alumni of Florida State University, both Kjettrup and Pak have benefited from the strong foundation and support system provided by the university’s golf program. The emphasis on skill development, competitive experience, and mental toughness instilled in student-athletes at FSU has clearly paid off for these two players as they navigate the challenges of professional golf. By excelling on the PGA Tour Americas and the Korn Ferry Tour, Kjettrup and Pak are not only representing their alma mater with pride but also proving themselves as rising stars in the world of professional golf.

The victories by Kjettrup and Pak also serve as inspiration for current and future student-athletes at Florida State University, demonstrating what is possible with hard work, dedication, and a strong support system. The success of these alumni reflects positively on the university’s golf program and its commitment to developing well-rounded individuals who excel both on and off the course. As FSU continues to produce top talent and compete at the highest levels of collegiate golf, the legacy of players like Kjettrup and Pak will serve as a beacon of excellence for generations of Seminoles to come.

In conclusion, the recent professional victories by Florida State golf alums John Kjettrup and John Pak highlight the continued success of the Seminoles’ program in producing top-tier talent for the professional ranks. Both players showcased their skills and mental toughness on their respective tours, securing important wins and moving up the rankings in their pursuit of a PGA Tour card. Their successes are a testament to the strong foundation and support provided by the FSU golf program, as well as the dedication and hard work put in by the players themselves. As they continue to thrive in the professional golf world, Kjettrup and Pak serve as shining examples of the excellence and achievement fostered at Florida State University.
