Fujikura is bringing back its popular Ventus line of shafts for 2024, starting with the mid-launch/low-spin Ventus Blue. Following the success of the original Ventus and Ventus TR lines, the company has added the 2024 Ventus Red and 2024 Ventus Black shafts to its lineup. The Velocore technology, introduced in 2018, remains central to the Ventus design. Velocore is a multi-material bias core construction technique that aims to provide clubface stability and more center-face contact for tighter dispersion down-range.

In the 2024 Ventus shafts, Fujikura has introduced the next generation of Velocore, Velocore+. This re-engineered multi-material bias core promises greater feel and stability, leading to even tighter dispersion and increased ball speeds. The 2024 Ventus Red shaft is higher launching and spinning than the Ventus Blue, with Velocore+ delivering higher ball speed, ease of launch, and improved accuracy. On the other hand, the 2024 Ventus Black shaft is designed for golfers with aggressive backswing-to-downswing transitions, offering low-launch, low-spin characteristics for penetrating ball flights and stability through impact.

Fujikura Product and Brand Manager, Spencer Reynolds, highlights the significance of the launch of the 2024 Ventus Red and Ventus Black shafts, stating that they provide more versatility for Charter Dealers and fitters wanting to offer unique performance benefits to various player types. The shafts are available in weights ranging from 52-94 grams and flexes from R2-X. The retail price for the 2024 Ventus shafts is set at $350, with availability starting from July 1.

Overall, the new 2024 Ventus shafts aim to build upon the success of the previous Ventus lines by introducing the enhanced Velocore+ technology for improved feel, stability, and performance. The addition of the Ventus Red and Ventus Black shafts provides golfers with options that cater to different playing styles and preferences, offering versatility and incremental gains on the course. With the combination of innovative design and premium materials, Fujikura continues to be at the forefront of shaft technology in the golf industry, providing players with the tools they need to optimize their performance and enhance their overall experience on the course.
