In the golf world, Fujikura has announced the launch of the highly anticipated 2024 Ventus line of shafts, with the Ventus Blue being the first release in the series. Following the success of the original Ventus and Ventus TR lines, Fujikura has introduced the 2024 Ventus Red and 2024 Ventus Black shafts to complete the lineup. These new shafts feature the latest iteration of Velocore technology, Velocore+, which aims to provide enhanced feel and stability for improved performance on the course.

The Velocore technology is a multi-material bias core construction technique that promotes clubface stability and center-face contact for better dispersion down the range. The Velocore+ in the 2024 Ventus shafts has been redesigned to offer even tighter dispersion and increased ball speeds. The 2024 Ventus Red shaft is designed for higher launch and spin compared to the Ventus Blue, while the 2024 Ventus Black is the low-launch, low-spin option in the lineup, ideal for players with aggressive swing transitions and a desire for penetrating ball flights.

According to Spencer Reynolds, Fujikura Product and Brand Manager, the introduction of the 2024 Ventus Red and Ventus Black shafts signifies a significant milestone for the company. These new additions to the VeloCore+ family provide more versatility for Charter Dealers and fitters looking to offer unique performance benefits to a variety of player types. With weights ranging from 52-94 grams and flexes available from R2-X, the 2024 Ventus shafts are priced at $350 and will be available at retail outlets starting July 1.

Overall, the 2024 Ventus line of shafts from Fujikura promises to deliver top-of-the-line performance for golfers looking to optimize their game. With the advanced Velocore+ technology and the distinct characteristics of the Red and Black shaft options, players can expect improved ball speeds, tighter dispersion, and enhanced accuracy on the course. Whether you prefer a higher launch and spin with the Ventus Red or a low-launch, low-spin profile with the Ventus Black, Fujikura has created a versatile lineup to suit the needs of a broad range of golfers.

Master Your 50-Yard Pitch: Eliminate Chunks, Own the Scoring Zone

By Sarah ChenFebruary 24, 2026

It’s too far for a chip, but not far enough for a full swing. This "in-between" distance often leads to hesitation, causing players to
