Luxury sports cars and golf have long gone hand in hand, but the “Arsham in Kohler” installation in Kohler, Wis., is breaking the mold with its unique blend of art and golf. This immersive art experience features larger-than-life sculptures on three of the property’s golf courses, including the renowned Whistling Straits. The unexpected sight of eroded bronze sculptures, such as a Porsche 911 and Venus di Milo, adds a new dimension to the luxury golf experience at Kohler. In addition to the sculptures, there is also a merchandise collection designed in collaboration with Malbon Golf, adding a touch of style and creativity to the overall experience.

Stephen Malbon, founder of Malbon Golf, notes that the collaboration with Arsham and Kohler embodies their shared values of community, creativity, and luxury. The 16-piece collection features Arsham’s distinctive style of creating “future relics” with geological materials, such as sand and volcanic ash. The artist’s modernized artifact designs can be seen in sculptures like the Bronze Eroded Venus di Milo and the Amalgamized head of Hermes of Olympia on the golf courses, sparking conversations about art, golf, and creative expression in a new way.

Daniel Arsham, the visionary artist behind the installation, sees the golf landscape as a platform for artistic expression and architectural propositions. By integrating his sculptures into the natural beauty of the golf courses, Arsham hopes to inspire a new perspective on the game and the creative process. Not only are the sculptures displayed on the courses, but one of the property’s guest cabins overlooking Lake Michigan has been transformed into an immersive art experience, complete with sculptures, artwork, and museum-worthy furniture designed by Arsham.

David Kohler, chairman and CEO of Kohler Co., expresses his excitement about the partnership with Arsham and Malbon, highlighting their shared passion for innovation and immersive experiences. The collaboration brings together a diverse range of talents and perspectives to create a truly unique and memorable golf experience for visitors. The intersection of golf, art, lifestyle, and luxury in the “Arsham in Kohler” installation showcases the endless possibilities for creative expression and collaboration in the world of golf and beyond.

Overall, the “Arsham in Kohler” installation in Kohler, Wis., is a one-of-a-kind experience that combines art and golf in an unexpected and inspiring way. From the larger-than-life sculptures on the golf courses to the merchandise collection designed in collaboration with Malbon Golf, every aspect of this project reflects a commitment to creativity, community, and luxury. Whether visitors are exploring the sculptures on the courses or immersing themselves in the art-filled guest cabin, they are sure to be captivated by the innovative and imaginative vision of Daniel Arsham and his collaborators.
