Harry Higgs, a 32-year-old SMU graduate, has garnered attention for his entertaining personality on and off the golf course. Despite moving back and forth between the PGA Tour and Korn Ferry Tour, he has participated in over 120 PGA Tour tournaments and earned over $5 million in his career. In a remarkable turn of events, Higgs secured his third win in only seven days with a 5-under 65 at the Visit Knoxville Open, clinching victory in a playoff with Frankie Capan III. His winning putt from over 36 feet away showcased his skills and determination. Just a week prior, Higgs chipped in for an eagle on the 18th hole to force a playoff and win at the AdventHealth Championship in Kansas City.

While Higgs has had his share of ups and downs in major tournaments, his performances in the 2021 PGA Championship and 2022 Masters have placed him in the top ranks, finishing T-4 and T-14, respectively. However, Higgs is equally known for his sense of humor and candid comments. In a 2023 interview with Golfweek, he famously criticized the PGA Tour/LIV Golf split, stating that all the “villains” and “assholes” were taken away, leaving a void. Another memorable moment was when Higgs decided to go shirtless with playing partner Joel Dahmen at the 2022 WM Phoenix Open, creating a fun and spontaneous experience for fans.

Throughout the years, Higgs has entertained fans with his engaging personality and engaging playing style. Notable moments include his performance at the RSM Classic, the AT&T Byron Nelson, and the Sanderson Farms Championship, where he showcased his golfing skills and entertained the audience. Higgs’ victory at the 2024 Visit Knoxville Open and the 2024 AdventHealth Championship highlighted his resilience and determination to succeed in the competitive world of professional golf. Additionally, his participation in major tournaments like the Masters and the PGA Championship has solidified his position as a rising star in the golfing world.

Higgs’ journey in professional golf has been a mix of challenges and triumphs, but his unwavering dedication and entertaining personality have endeared him to fans worldwide. Whether he is making headlines for his on-course performances or his off-course antics, Higgs continues to capture the attention of golf enthusiasts. As he continues to hone his skills and compete in prestigious tournaments, Harry Higgs is poised to make a lasting impact on the sport of golf and cement his legacy as one of the most entertaining and talented players on the PGA Tour.
