Titleist Offers Premium Golf Ball Fitting App for Players of All Levels

When it comes to choosing the right golf ball for your game, the options can be overwhelming. With so many different premium balls available, how do you know which one is best suited for your style of play? Titleist, a leading manufacturer of golf balls, has developed a new golf ball fitting app to help players quickly and accurately determine which ball will help them perform at their best on the course.

Justin Thomas, a two-time major winner, has found that the Pro V1x offers the perfect blend of speed and spin for his game. On the other hand, Davis Thompson, the recent winner of the John Deere Classic, prefers the Pro V1, while Bryson DeChambeau, the 2024 U.S. Open champion, opts for the Pro V1x Left Dash. These players have all found success with different Titleist balls, highlighting the importance of finding the right fit for your individual game.

The Titleist Golf Ball Fitting App begins with a brief questionnaire that asks players about their playing style, the course conditions they typically face, and their golf ball preferences. Players then hit a series of shots with a Titleist Pro V1 ball, including half-wedges, pitching wedges, 7-irons, and driver shots. A fitter captures data on each shot using a TrackMan launch monitor, which is then combined with the player’s initial responses to generate a personalized golf ball recommendation.

The app is designed to help players find the perfect fit among Titleist’s premium offerings, including the Pro V1, Pro V1x, Pro V1x Left Dash, and AVX. Each of these balls is designed with specific playing attributes in mind, such as the Pro V1’s mid-trajectory launch and high spin, the Pro V1x’s firm feel and high spin off the tee, the Pro V1x Left Dash’s reduced spin, and the AVX’s soft feel and low launch with slightly less greenside spin.

While the Titleist Golf Ball Fitting App is a valuable tool for fitters to use in helping players find the ideal ball for their game, it is not intended for players to use on their own. The app relies on a combination of data from the hitting session and the expertise of a trained fitter to provide accurate recommendations. By leveraging the power of big data and information gathered from thousands of ball fittings, Titleist has created a cutting-edge tool to streamline the fitting process and ensure that players are using the best ball for their game.

Whether you’re a beginner looking to improve your game or a seasoned pro looking for an edge on the competition, finding the right golf ball can make a significant difference in your performance on the course. With the Titleist Golf Ball Fitting App, players of all levels can receive personalized recommendations based on their individual playing style and preferences, helping them optimize their game and achieve better results on the course. Next time you’re in the market for a new golf ball, consider using the Titleist Golf Ball Fitting App to find the perfect fit for your game.
