The PING Blueprint S irons are a classic cavity back design that delivers excellent shot control, soft feel, and forgiveness compared to the Blueprint T irons. The cavity back design pushes weight to the perimeter, improving performance on mishits. These irons are designed to appeal to a wide range of players looking for a traditional players iron experience.

The PING Blueprint S irons feature a clean, player’s look at address with a compact blade length, minimal offset, and thin top lines. The shaping of the toe and leading edge is slightly softer than the Blueprint T, offering a more rounded appearance. The irons stand out with a ribbon of chrome finish near the sole and minimal branding for a sleek, understated design.

In terms of sound and feel, the PING Blueprint S irons offer a soft impact feel and quiet “thud” sound on center hits. They provide excellent feedback, allowing players to feel exactly where the ball met the face. The feedback on mishits is less stringent compared to the Blueprint T, making for a more forgiving experience overall.

When it comes to performance, the PING Blueprint S irons excel in control and stopping power, with relatively weak lofts that prioritize precision over raw distance. The Precision-Pocket Forging in the long irons allows for weight to be moved to the perimeter for higher MOI and improved forgiveness. There is a noticeable improvement in consistency and forgiveness compared to the Blueprint T, with slightly higher launch and lower spin.

The PING Blueprint S irons are ideal for players seeking a classic players cavity back iron with enhanced forgiveness. They offer excellent shot control and the ability to shape shots, making them a versatile option for players looking for a blend of feel and performance. Combining them with the PING i230 irons for a more forgiving set could offer the perfect balance for mid to low handicappers. Overall, the PING Blueprint S irons are a top choice for golfers who value traditional looks and feel with added forgiveness.
