Keegan Bradley, the recently named U.S. Ryder Cup captain, will also be making his debut as an assistant captain at this year’s Presidents Cup. Bradley, along with Stewart Cink, Justin Leonard, and Kevin Kisner, will serve under captain Jim Furyk for the event. Furyk expressed his excitement about having Bradley’s competitive spirit and match play expertise in the team room for both the 2024 and 2025 tournaments.

Having previously competed in two Ryder Cups (2012, 2014) and the 2013 Presidents Cup, Bradley brings valuable experience to his new role as an assistant captain. His 2-2-1 record at the 2013 Presidents Cup showcased his skill in team competition and strategic play. Bradley expressed his enthusiasm for the opportunity to support the team and gain insight into the coaching aspect of the game, especially as he prepares to lead the U.S. team at the 2025 Ryder Cup at Bethpage Black.

The 2024 Presidents Cup will take place at The Royal Montreal Golf Club in Montreal, Canada, from September 26-29. The U.S. team has a dominant record in the event, with a 12-1-1 overall score and nine consecutive victories. The addition of Bradley as an assistant captain, along with the leadership of Furyk, signals a strong team dynamic and a focus on continuing the winning streak at this year’s competition.

In addition to his role as an assistant captain for the Presidents Cup, Bradley was recently named the U.S. Ryder Cup captain for 2025. He has already selected Webb Simpson as a vice captain and is expected to announce more additions to his leadership team in the coming months. Bradley’s commitment to team success and his experience in high-pressure match play situations make him a valuable asset to both the Presidents Cup and Ryder Cup teams.
