Review of Adidas Codechaos 25 Golf Shoes

Adidas has been busy this year with the launch of new golf shoe models like the Tour360 24, Samba, and MC80. The latest addition to the Adidas golf shoe lineup is the third generation of the spikeless franchise, the Codechaos 25. The new Codechaos 25 features a redesigned outsole that provides extra grip on the instep of the shoe. The lugs on the outsole have been altered to cover a greater surface area, making it suitable for all ground conditions.

The Codechaos 25 boasts a multi-layer knit upper that is fully waterproof and easy to clean. The upper is covered with a transparent PU film that adds a unique touch to the shoe’s design. While the shoe excels on the golf course with its all-year-round wearability, it may not be the best off-course shoe due to its athletic silhouette and comprehensive outsole design. However, the Codechaos 25 prioritizes on-course performance over casual wear.

Despite a firmer feel underfoot compared to other spikeless shoes, the Codechaos 25 remains comfortable thanks to lateral support and Boost cushioning. The hybrid midsole of Boost and Lightstrike technologies adds stability and energy return, making it a pleasure to wear on long rounds of golf. Sizing can be slightly tricky with Adidas golf shoes, so buyers may need to adjust their usual size when purchasing the Codechaos 25.

Priced at £140 ($169), the Codechaos 25 offers great value for a high-performance golf shoe that can be worn in all conditions. For an additional £10 ($10), golfers can opt for the BOA version of the shoe, featuring the BOA lacing system for added convenience and customization. Whether you choose the laced or BOA version, the new Codechaos is a reliable option for golfers looking for a versatile and comfortable shoe to wear throughout the year.

In conclusion, the Adidas Codechaos 25 is a solid upgrade from its predecessor, offering enhanced stability, comfort, and durability. The redesigned outsole, waterproof upper, and hybrid midsole technology make it a standout choice for golfers who prioritize performance on the course. With options for both laced and BOA versions, the Codechaos 25 caters to a wide range of preferences and provides excellent value for a premium golf shoe. Available now in the UK and soon in the USA, the Codechaos 25 is a worthy investment for golfers seeking a reliable and high-quality footwear option.
