The Club at Mill Green in Hertfordshire is set to host the Get Golfing Festival of Golf later this month, providing a week-long celebration of unity and inclusivity within the golf community. Supported by various partners in the golf industry, such as England Golf, the LET Access Series, the Golf Foundation, the EDGA Tour, and the Annika Women’s All Pro Tour, the festival will take place from August 26 to September 1 at the popular Hatfield based-club.

One of the highlights of the week will be the Get Golfing Women’s Golf Championship, an event on the Ladies European Tour Access Series where up and coming stars of the women’s professional game will compete for over €80,000. The 54-hole tournament will be held from August 30 to September 1, providing a great opportunity for golf enthusiasts to witness the future superstars in action.

In addition to the championship event, the festival will feature a wide range of competitions and activities for amateurs, including the Super Sixes tournament, Glow Golf, a Celebrity Pro-Am, the Adidas Junior Open, the Single Shot Inrange Island Challenge, Fantastic Fours, taster sessions, The British Long Drive Championship qualifiers and final, a Women’s G4D Series event for golfers with a disability, and a family FootGolf competition.

Attendees can look forward to an array of prizes and competition draws, giving everyone a chance to showcase their skills regardless of age or golf handicap. Whether playing on the 9-hole Academy course or the Championship course setup for 9 or 18 holes, participants are sure to have a fun day out with various exciting activities to choose from.

As an added bonus, Get Golfing is offering a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to win a free club membership at any of its 13 venues. The competition, held online at www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/win-a-lifetime-golf-membership, aims to raise funds to support the Festival of Golf. Entry costs for the prize draw are £5 for one ticket, £10 for 3 tickets, and £50 for 20 tickets, with the deadline for entries set for August 26.

Located just 10 minutes from junction 23 (South Mimms) of the M25, The Club at Mill Green is conveniently situated between Hatfield and Welwyn Garden City, making it easily accessible from all over the southeast region. Those interested in attending the festival can book tickets and register for specific events on the official website at www.getgolfing.org/festival-of-golf.

As part of a special offer, Golf News readers can avail of free tickets to the festival along with 3 complimentary shots on the InRange Island Challenge. Visit the website for further details on this exclusive promotion. Make sure not to miss out on this exciting event that promises a week filled with camaraderie, competition, and fun for golfers of all levels.
