In 2024, JP Golf introduced the JP Camber wedge, a more affordable version of their popular JP Premier wedges. The JP Camber wedge aims to provide exceptional performance and style at a lower price point, making it accessible to more golfers. The wedges come in three finishes – Chrome, Black, and Raw – with seventeen paint fill options, allowing players to customize their look.

The JP Camber wedges have a unique design with a rounded shape and satin finish on the face to reduce glare. The leading edge is gently rounded, and the overall look is more round than teardrop. The mill marks on the sole, signature loft stamping, and “JP” branding add to the visual appeal of these wedges. The cavity back design keeps the focus on the brand and provides a clean, sleek appearance.

Made from forged 1025 carbon steel, the JP Camber wedges provide a soft feel at impact, creating a sense of connection between the player’s hands and the ball. The sound and feel of the wedges are quiet on short shots and become more crisp and clear on longer shots. Even mishits retain the soft feeling, providing feedback to the player.

The standout feature of the JP Camber wedge is its unique sole design, which offers three options – Low, Mid, and High bounce. These soles have a significant difference in bounce and turf interaction, making it easy for players to choose the right one for their game. The milled sole provides consistency in performance, ensuring that each wedge is identical in its turf interaction.

The JP Camber wedges have a center of gravity that promotes a lower launch and controlled trajectory with above-average spin. They offer excellent ball speed and tight dispersion, making them a reliable choice for wedge play. The wedges are designed to be fun to hit, encouraging players to experiment with different approaches and shots with each sole option.

Despite being priced lower than the JP Premier wedges, the JP Camber wedge does not compromise on performance. It maintains the elite performance that JP Golf is known for, making it a competitive option for golfers looking for high-quality wedges at a more affordable price point. Players can try and get fitted for the JP Camber wedges at their local Club Champion fitting center.
