The 15th Presidents Cup is set to begin later this month at Royal Montreal Golf Club, with both the U.S. and International teams finalizing their rosters after unveiling their captain’s picks. U.S. captain Jim Furyk selected Sam Burns, Tony Finau, Russell Henley, Keegan Bradley, Brian Harman, and Max Homa to join the automatic qualifiers on the team. Meanwhile, International captain Mike Weir picked Corey Conners, Taylor Pendrith, Mackenzie Hughes, Christiaan Bezuidenhout, Min Woo Lee, and Si Woo Kim to round out his squad.

Henley, Harman, and Theegala will be making their first appearances in the Presidents Cup at Royal Montreal, with Harman recently debuting in international team matches at last year’s Ryder Cup. Bradley, who was initially appointed as an assistant captain, played his way onto the team after winning the BMW Championship and will no longer serve in that role. Notably, Justin Thomas was left off the team for the first time in eight years, despite a strong performance at the Tour Championship.

The International squad, led by Weir, consists of players from five different countries, with representation from South Korea, Canada, Australia, South Africa, and Japan. Weir’s picks include players like Corey Conners, Taylor Pendrith, Mackenzie Hughes, Christiaan Bezuidenhout, Min Woo Lee, and Si Woo Kim. Surprisingly, Weir left off Canadians Nick Taylor and Adam Hadwin in favor of other picks.

The Presidents Cup will take place from September 26-29 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, with the U.S. boasting a dominant record of 12-1-1 over the Internationals in previous matches. The teams will compete at Royal Montreal Golf Club, with fans eagerly anticipating the matchups and competitions between the two sides. Stay tuned for more updates and coverage of the 15th Presidents Cup, as both teams gear up for what promises to be an exciting and competitive event on the golfing calendar.
