Basingstoke Golf Club is getting ready to unveil its new clubhouse, marking a significant step towards completing its full lineup of new facilities. The clubhouse, set to open on September 14, will feature a spacious bar and dining area, a veranda offering panoramic views of the course, and an expanded professional shop and changing facilities. Additionally, the club will have additional conference space to explore further revenue opportunities.

In 2021, Basingstoke Golf Club relocated to Dummer, acquiring the former Dummer Golf Club site and starting work on a new 18-hole championship course. The redesigned course features thrilling, undulating holes set amidst rolling fairways and strategically placed water hazards. While the full reopening is scheduled for September 2025, ten holes were opened in June, with the remaining eight opening alongside the clubhouse. The club is also working on building a new driving range, short-game area, and putting green with advanced technology.

David Green, general manager at Basingstoke Golf Club, emphasized the importance of blending modernity with historical references in the new clubhouse. The clubhouse will provide members with a relaxing spot to unwind, with stunning views of the course. The nearby practice facilities will create a vibrant atmosphere while also being convenient for warm-ups. The clubhouse will be accessible to visitors and non-members, making it a perfect destination for families to socialize, with top-notch food and beverage options enhancing the experience.

Membership interest at Basingstoke Golf Club is at an all-time high, with a steady stream of inquiries pouring in daily. The club is looking to build on the existing membership base from the old club while attracting new members to establish a new legacy at Basingstoke. Golf operations manager, Tom Robson, expressed excitement about the growing interest and the club’s reputation as one of the southeast’s premier golf venues. The goal is to create a welcoming environment for everyone, whether they are practicing on the driving range, playing the course, or relaxing in the clubhouse.

The new clubhouse is set to become a hub of activity, offering members and visitors a comfortable and spacious environment to enjoy their time at the club. With enhanced facilities and stunning views, Basingstoke Golf Club aims to provide a top-notch experience for everyone who visits. As the club continues to expand and develop its offerings, it is well on its way to becoming a leading golf destination in the region.
