As the PGA Tour season winds down, golf fans are left wondering what to watch next. While some may turn their attention to college football and the NFL, there is still plenty of golf to enjoy between now and December when Tiger Woods is expected to make appearances. The Fall Series, including events like the Procore Championship in Napa, offers golfers the chance to secure exemptions for the following season by finishing in the top 125 on the money list. While the big stars may not be present, these events are still important for up-and-coming golfers looking to make a name for themselves.

The Solheim Cup, a biennial women’s golf competition between Team USA and Team Europe, is another exciting event to look forward to. With Team USA looking to break a losing streak in recent years, captain Stacy Lewis is determined to lead her team to victory. On the men’s side, the Presidents Cup sees American dominance, but the International teams are steadily closing the gap. With the event taking place in Montreal this year, the Canadian players, led by captain Mike Weir, will be motivated to challenge the American team led by captain Jim Furyk.

On the European Tour, the DP World Tour Championship in Dubai promises to showcase top players like Rory McIlroy and Shane Lowry. The race to the finish on the European Tour is expected to be intense with only eight events left on the calendar. In addition, the LPGA season is far from over, with nine more official events scheduled, culminating in the CME Group Tour Championship in Naples, Florida. Nelly Korda is on track to claim the player of the year title, while Lexi Thompson will be bidding farewell to the tour as a full-time player at the end of the season.

The Epson Tour Championship, played at the Indian Wells Golf Resort, offers a chance for up-and-coming female golfers to earn LPGA cards for the following season. With 15 cards up for grabs, the event is crucial for those looking to make their mark in the world of professional golf. The city of Indian Wells is hopeful that a strong turnout of local fans will attract the attention of the LPGA and lead to more events in the future. Tickets are affordable, and the level of golf is impressive, making it a worthwhile event to attend.

Overall, while the PGA Tour season may be winding down, there is still plenty of golf action to look forward to in the coming months. From exciting team competitions like the Solheim Cup and the Presidents Cup to individual events on the European Tour and the LPGA, there is no shortage of thrilling golf tournaments to enjoy. Whether you’re a casual fan or a die-hard enthusiast, there is something for everyone to get excited about as the golf season continues. So stay tuned and don’t miss out on all the golfing action still to come.
