Nikon’s Coolshot Pro II Stabilized rangefinder is available for purchase through Fairway Jockey for $399.95. In a review conducted by the managing equipment editor, Jonathan Wall, the rangefinder was thoroughly tested on the range and course to evaluate its performance. However, Wall’s unit was borrowed by Kris McCormack from True Spec Golf for testing after his rangefinder broke. McCormack provided an honest assessment of the Coolshot Pro II, highlighting its features and ease of use.

The Nikon Coolshot Pro II Stabilized rangefinder utilizes technology borrowed from Nikon’s cameras and lenses to provide stabilized optics for a steady view and accurate ranging. With HYPER READ technology, the rangefinder delivers near-instant measurements visible on a bright OLED display, making it easy to lock onto targets. The 6x power monocular with anti-glare and high-contrast coatings ensures a clear view, while the DUAL LOCKED ON ECHO feature confirms pin targeting.

McCormack, an experienced tester of rangefinders, praised the Coolshot Pro II for its ease of use and wide range of features. The rangefinder’s crystal-clear OLED display offers high visibility in all lighting conditions, and features like the Dual Locked on Echo and incline/decline technology provide accuracy and confidence in measurements. The rangefinder’s size and weight also make it convenient to carry around on the course.

The Coolshot Pro II has impressed McCormack with its durability and consistent accuracy in readings. Despite exposure to heat and drops, the rangefinder has maintained its performance without any noticeable issues. At a price point of $399.95, McCormack believes that the Coolshot Pro II is the best rangefinder in its category, offering value for money and superior optical technology. Those looking to upgrade their golf equipment for 2024 can visit True Spec Golf for fitting locations and expert advice on selecting the right gear.

Jonathan Wall, the managing editor at GOLF.com with a background in covering equipment for the PGA Tour, provided an overview of the Coolshot Pro II review conducted by Kris McCormack. The rangefinder’s innovative technology, ease of use, and accuracy were highlighted as key features that set it apart from other models in the market. With a positive assessment from an experienced tester, the Coolshot Pro II is positioned as a top choice for golfers seeking a reliable and high-performance rangefinder.
