Is TheStack Swing Speed Training Program Effective? Let’s Investigate

TheStack swing speed trainer is a revolutionary system co-founded by biomechanist Dr. Sasho MacKenzie and Ping engineer Marty Jertson. This system is designed to help golfers increase their swing speed and distance through a customized training regimen. The hardware and app bundle of TheStack includes a training club with milled weights, a dual-purpose weight case, a highly engineered training club, and a two-year license to access the training app on iOS devices. The app provides dynamic speed training formulated by Dr. Sasho MacKenzie, a guided workout timer, custom speed metrics tracking, hands-free data entry, and access to Stack Putting.

High-profile pro Matt Fitzpatrick has credited TheStack with significant distance gains, which has increased the popularity of the system. To test the effectiveness of TheStack, one plus-handicap pro, Paul, committed to the training program. Despite already using custom-fitted equipment and having access to personal stat data, Paul felt he could benefit from the extra yards off the tee. The simplicity of TheStack’s usage made it easy for Paul to start with a baseline session to determine the training schedule. The training does not require hitting a ball, making it easy to complete sessions indoors or outdoors.

Paul’s initial swing speed reading was 87 mph, with the goal of continually improving this number throughout the training program. His training consists of sessions every two to three days, with periodic check-ins to track progress. After completing his first training session, Paul saw an increase in his swing speed from 87 to 92 mph. The app provides guidance on when to complete sessions and when to rest, ensuring a structured approach to the training program. Paul is optimistic about the process and aims to reach a swing speed of 100 mph by the end of the year.

As a proficient golfer herself and member of Columbia’s inaugural class of female varsity golfers, Jessica Marksbury is well-qualified to put TheStack swing speed trainer to the test. Her husband, Paul, serves as the perfect guinea pig for the experiment due to his club pro background and desire to improve his distance off the tee. With the potential for an extra 10 or more yards off the tee being extremely meaningful in competitive play, Paul’s commitment to TheStack’s training program will be closely monitored and documented to track his progress over time. Stay tuned for updates on Paul’s journey with TheStack swing speed trainer.
