Review of the TaylorMade Kalea Gold Rescue

The Kalea Gold rescue is a part of TaylorMade’s new range of women’s clubs, which includes a driver, fairway woods, irons, and a putter. This rescue club is also known as a hybrid and comes in four options – 4, 5, 6, and 7. The aesthetics of the club are sleek, with a dark navy crown highlighted with silver and gold accents. The club is fitted with a SuperStroke grip that is comfortable and soft, although this may not be to everyone’s liking.

The club feels fairly lightweight with a graphite ultralight shaft, but the shaft has slightly less flex compared to other hybrids in the market. Despite this, the club sits neatly behind the ball and inspires confidence in making good contact and hitting a decent shot. The carbon crown design with a lower center of gravity enhances launch and spin, resulting in a high ball flight that is effortless to achieve.

During testing of the 4 and 7 rescue clubs, it was noted that they both performed well, with the ability to get the ball airborne easily and achieve powerful shots with a lovely sound off the face. The 4 rescue proved to be effective on long par-3 holes and from light rough, while the 7 rescue was versatile but may not work as well for those who struggle to hit a rescue club like an iron.

For women who prefer using rescue clubs over irons or have a gapping distance in their bag, the Kalea Gold rescue is a worth considering option. Custom fitting sessions can help find the right makeup for your set, creating one of the best women’s golf sets tailored to your individual needs.Overall, the Kalea Gold rescue club from TaylorMade’s women’s club range offers a sleek design with a comfortable grip and lightweight feel. The club performs well in achieving high ball flights with a powerful sound upon impact, making it a reliable option for various shots on the course.
